We hope you love what you ordered, but if you change your mind, we want to make the return process as straightforward as possible. As a consumer residing in the EU, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal on most of our products, in accordance with Danish and EU consumer law.
Right of Withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without providing a reason.
To exercise this right, please notify us before the 14-day period expires by emailing info@etaire-office.com with your order number and the items you wish to return.
Condition of Returned Items
To be eligible for a return, items must be:
- Unworn, unused, and in the same condition as received
- In their original packaging
- With all tags, dust bags, and protective materials attached or included
Items that show signs of wear or use, are missing their original packaging or tags, or have been damaged after delivery may not be eligible for a full refund.
Pierced Jewellery
For hygiene and safety reasons, pierced jewellery (including earrings for pierced ears) cannot be returned or exchanged once removed from its original sealed packaging, unless the item is defective. This exception is in accordance with EU consumer law.
How to Return an Item
- Email us at info@etaire-office.com within 14 days of receiving your order
- We will confirm your return and provide instructions
- Send the item back to us within 14 days of notifying us
- Items must be returned in their original condition and packaging
You will receive a confirmation email once we have received your return.
The customer is responsible for return shipping costs, and we recommend using a tracked service. We are not responsible for items lost or damaged in return transit.

Refunds
Once we have received and inspected your return, we will process your refund within 14 days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout.
Return shipping costs are not refunded unless the return is due to a defect or error on our part.
We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned goods or you have provided proof of return, whichever comes first.
Damaged or Defective Products
If you receive an item that is damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at info@etaire-office.com with your order number and photos of the issue. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you, including return shipping where applicable.
Your rights as a consumer under Danish consumer law (købeloven) remain unaffected.
Exchanges
We do not currently offer direct exchanges. If you would like a different product, please return your original order in accordance with this policy and place a new order.
Reduction in Value
We reserve the right to deduct an amount corresponding to any reduction in value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to assess the nature and characteristics of the product. In practice, this means a product returned unworn and in original condition will be fully refunded.
Right to Refuse Returns
Etaire reserves the right to refuse returns that do not meet the conditions listed in this policy, including items that show signs of wear, are missing original packaging or tags, or are returned outside the 14-day window.

We reserve the right to update this policy at any time. Any changes will be reflected on this page, and the most recent version will apply to current and future orders.
